EuroBio 09 took place from 23 to 25 September 2009 in Lille (France) as and was an important event for partnering and tech transfer for BioIndustry in Europe.

KAPPA-Health partners were present on the stand of the European Commission and shared their experience with the participants. Many visitors represented research intensive SMEs which were looking for partnership and funding in their business development.

Many question were raised about the access to FP7 research funding but also how to get support to product development and commercialisation
A major concern while considering a participation in collaborative research schemes by Small and Medium research intensive Enterprises was how to address Intellectual Property issues in their consortium.
