The Participant Portal has become the European Commission's single authoritative website for the publication of FP7 calls. The FP7 call-related information is no longer published on CORDIS.

This implies a general re-organisation of the web-presence, which will be implemented
gradually throughout 2011 and 2012.

Key web services for the 7th Framework Programme are going to be redistributed between the three main portals in the following way:

1. Research on Europa: publishes general information on the EU research policy, initiatives
   and specific programmes and addresses the interested broad public.
2. Participant Portal: is used for interactions with the participants of EU-funded research
   and innovation projects; it also provides information on funding opportunities.
3. CORDIS: disseminates information on the EU-funded research projects, their
   outcomes and their exploitation.
